Quick Start Guide for JOCE

This is the quick start step-by-step guide for JOCE. It shows you the faster way to get your keywords processed for Adwords using JOCE.

Step 1:
Copy keywords from Google Adwords Keyword Tool. After highlighting the keywords, you can either right click to trigger the menu and click “Copy” or simply press [ctrl-c]

Step 2:
Switch to JOCE by pressing Alt-Tab key.

Step 3:
Press the [Paste & Wrap] button ONCE to sort, clean, dedupe, wrap and copy the keywords for pasting…and done!

The next step is just go to Adwords’s Add/Edit Keywords’s textbox and press [ctrl-v] to paste the keywords.

More about JOCE’s capability

What if you want to do something else with the keywords? Like…
a. add “www.” and “.com” in front and at the back of all the keywords,
b. more about creating keywords variations, change on change vs change on original, change on one keyword instead of list of keywords of the AdGroup, etc.
c. replace spaces within the key phrases with hyphen, etc.

    While this looks like it might be interesting, it’s all password protected.

    It makes it so many of the functions are totally unusable as I just get an excel error, ‘the sheet is protected’ and one needs to unprotect the sheet to be able to use many of the features.

    Hi Brad, I was using Excel 2002 to design JOCE. It allow protected sheet without affecting certain functions like sort, add column, etc.

    I just realised earlier version of Excel cannot cater for protection without locking JOCE function. I will lift the protection.

    I have removed the sheet protection. JOCE and AE should be working properly now.

    Brad, thanks for informing the issue. The flexible options for sheet protection can only work in Excel 2002 and later versions of Excel.
